How to Choose the Right Accumulator
When choosing an accumulator, it is crucial to consider several factors:
- Maximum pressure: This should never be exceeded. The ideal working pressure is about 80% of the maximum pressure, taking into account any temperature increases.
- Minimum pressure: For optimal operation, the minimum working pressure should be about 10% higher than the accumulator’s precharge pressure.
- Oil volume: The required volume depends on the specific needs of the application.
